A List Apart Web Design Survey
Our friends at A List Apart are doing a comprehensive survey on web design. It focuses on the state of the industry more than learning about web practices…. but if you want to help out head over and maybe win a prize.

Why do they care about my ethnicity? Is it a law in USA?
Sorry to post kind of “echo” to the first one, but even with tons of goodwill, just by reading the first questions I was shocked by this f… ethnicity question… mouse clicks are Caucasian or Black? Can URLs be seen as individuals’ “race” or gender expression??????
So sorry to witness such a narrow minded behaviour…
Why collect ethnicity information?
It’s called collecting and building DEMOGRAPHICS….
It’s not narrow minded at all. Haven’t you ever completed a census? Collecting demagraphics is a merely a marketing strategy. It doesn’t imply any sort of gender or racial discrimination.
Shame I messed that sounded like interesting research. Any one know where I can see the results?
