Adobe AIR Bus Tour
<>p>Adobe is putting on a bus tour around the US to get developers up to speed on AIR.The tour is free, targeted at JavaScript developers, and is a great way to quickly gain a solid understanding of what the Adobe Integrated Runtime is.
The tour is running from July 10th in Seattle, to September 29th in Chicago. Take a peak at the full schedule to see when it comes to a city near you.
There are a ton of feeds that you will be able to get from developers on the bus, and at the events themselves.

Hopefully, they’ll organise something like this in Europe as well. Would be interesting to go to.
Why are they skipping Silicon Valley?
Ron, I wouldn’t count on it ;)
Hmm. Maybe I will go.
…it will be interesting to see how this will integrate with Gears, if at all. I will definitely try to make it to the session in Seattle– the Elysian has some great brew! Great idea by their team to hold it there, this will be fun to see.

Yes. This is something we are considering for the fall. We want to see how the first leg of the tour goes before we finalize on any of the details for Europe.

We did an apollo camp in San Francisco about 2 months ago, which is why we decided not to do another one in the bay area right now.

I offer fast track on Adobe Air as well as Microsoft Silverlight and Web Expressions using Silverlight. I thought it was important to offer a private alternative since they are targeting the Big Corporations with Air and Silverlight. I am a Web Application Development Instructor in San Francisco and have been ODBC, .net and LAMP since summer of 2000. Bay Area, Let’s make our own fastrack to AIR! I would be more then happy to speak and setup some practice servers in AS3! editor @ ICAMD.org
