Ajax Avenue; No Exit
Thank god it is a Friday so I can post this bit of fun from New Zealand.
Stephen Colebourne found it and said:
This is a genuine street sign from Nelson, New Zealand. But perhaps its telling us that Ajax really is a dead end and we need something better?! Or that now we’ve started using Ajax there’s no escape?!!

I’ve been past that corner myself - it does indeed exist.
There’s also an Ajax Street down in Dunedin, New Zealand - its a very short street with nothing interesting on it.
There’s also a town named Ajax in Ontario, near Toronto. The most notable thing about Ajax is its proximity to more interesting places.

About 90,000 people live in Ajax. Most of them wish they could afford to live in Toronto, but at least they’re glad they’re not living in Pickering.
We’ve started using Ajax and there’s no escape!
…no metaphor for the platform not moving forward quickly, nope, not at all…
nothing to see here. Move along.
Interesting
There’s a AJAX Drive in Sunnyvale,CA, US and it’s where I live.

Outside the Academie in Firenze (Florence), I saw this nice Ajax graffiti:
