When I search in google the word "ajax" I get the site www.ajaxwrite.com" on position 170. It looks like the position of ajaxwrite.com on top 10 results was just a "glitch" in Google's algorithm - so why all the fus about it ?!

Razvan

[...] Ajaxwrite looks a bit like Word 97 , if you never pay attention you might think both are the same product, but ajaxwrite is just running on browser ( seem like now only support firefox ), most of the basic word feature are there, but if comapre to writely or zoho writer, it seem like a lot of feature is missing. Currently the ajaxwrite seem like still a very basic word service , its a bit like tinymce to me ? but its seem like having a promising future, because the creator of this product promise a new ajax product weekly, maybe at the end it will tie all these together ?
We have a library of applications we have been working on to replace most of the standard PC software titles. Every week we will launch a new sophisticated program on Wednesday at 12:00 PST on http://www.ajaxLaunch.com. [...]

Could someone please tell me what is Ajax about ajaxWrite? It doesn't save to the server or open documents from the server. You can't use it to collaborate with other users or import live data sources.

Granted it is a nice editor inside a browser but that is DHTML and not Ajax. The one essential component of Ajax IMO is the useful client-server interaction.
