Is this different from the user account required to comment on posts?
And is the user account required to comment different from the retroactive user account forced upon some folks without registering simply because they had cookies already? I still can’t for the life of me figure out how to log on as the “user name” I was originally posting with, because I *never* registered it, it simply had me “logged in” one day, on different OS install that I no longer use, and I never had to enter login credentials to use it.
God, for all the cool content about web apps, using the site itself is pretty suck. I mean, it still has a plain-text HTML editor, and consistently has trouble either adding space for, or scaling, extra-wide content…
Er, sorry, I didn’t plan that rant.
I’m intending on writing an article about implementing jQuery with lighttpd’s mod_upload_progress. Perhaps I’ll submit a copy of it to Ajaxian after I throw it up on my blog.
