Bungee Labs Ajax App Builder Public Events

Category: Ajax, Announcements, Workshop

<>p>Bungee Labs is a very well-funded emerging player in the Ajax-based application builder space. The company is still in stealth mode and playing coy with specifics, but their technology promises to make it easy to create full-featured, service-consuming Ajax applications — all without ever leaving your browser or installing anything. They’ve announced two upcoming “pre-public beta events” for folks to play with their stuff:

Tuesday February 20th, 8:15-4:30pm

Tuesday March 6th, 8:15-4:30pm

These trainings include tutorials using web services from Amazon, Ebay, Yahoo, Google and PayPal. Attendees will be a part of a group of less than 100 developers with an active Bungee developer account. Bungee engineers will be at both events so attendees can pick their brains and get guidance on individual projects. A continental breakfast and lunch will also be provided.

We looked at Bungee’s stuff a while back and while the bits won’t “ship” for a few months yet, they’re definitely up to some cool stuff.

Taking complexity out of Ajax development is always a good thing. How is it going to cost?
