Okay, okay, we have a soft spot for Ajax RSS readers. Back in ‘05, when Ajax was just a freshly minted little buzzword, we created an Ajaxian RSS reader as a demo for our first “Ajax” talk. Wojciech Polak and his team have done a much better job than we ever did with Cheetah News, a fast Ajax application complete with short-cut keys and a plea to save the cheetah from extinction. The user interface isn’t as Web 2.0-eye-candy-slick as some others we’ve seen, but it’s solid, fun, fast, and easy-to-use.
