Colorado Home Stop: More real estate
Does anyone get the feeling that a fair few people saw early Google Maps mashups and realised that it was a killer app for real estate? :)
Alex Blyakhman and his team have added many rich Ajax features to Colorado Home Stop using Dojo.
You will see how this app can handle thousands of properties without coming to its knees.
It has been interesting to see the evolution of these mashups from simply plotting simple HTML divs on the map, to making the map itself the application.

Pretty impressive, but feels a bit slow at times.
However, go to there site and check firebug… it sends an amazing number of requests.
Thanks for the plug! We got Dugg this morning too and featured on Google Maps Mania, so the current load is a bit above average, to say the least.
Great tool. Sometimes its nice to pick a point on the map and do your real estate search around that point. Very cool.
