Create Your Own Web-based Screensaver

Category: Articles

Have you ever thought about having a cool ajaxian web page be a screen saver? This post discusses how to do this with .hta files.

<hta :APPLICATION ID=”screensaver”
APPLICATIONNAME=”screensaver”
BORDER=”none”
INNERBORDER = “no”
CAPTION=”no”
SHOWINTASKBAR=”no”
SINGLEINSTANCE=”yes”
SYSMENU=”no”
SCROLL = “no”
WINDOWSTATE=”maximize”>
</hta>

They also link to Autohotkey for that final piece.

Hmm, now if we made our RSS reader a screensaver we could have the OSX Tiger function for other Windows too :)
