Complete genius
Is it me or does this look like Firefox with IETab and EditCSS/CSSMate installed?
A smart idea, but I think we’re getting a lot of new CSS editors launching, and the competition is really driving feature development.
Apps like CSSEdit and Coda are raising the bar, so tools like this are neat but they’re not going to win me over with a convenience feature alone.
Having said that, if there’s a particular CSS rendering glitch that you need to sort out, this could speed up the process a great deal.
It would be a great tool for tweaking the code so that it works properly with both browsers, however it doesn’t work for me. IE gets updated but firefox does not and sometimes renders weirdly. However i’ll keep checking for newer version.
I use in-browser css editing in Firefox daily. Its very handy when you need to work out pixel positions or adjust padding / margins and see them in real time. When it comes to layout issues IE gives us the most trouble, having this real time adjustment in IE will be great. Another great tool is John Allsops XRAY, be sure to check it out..
Great! I just used it to fix the layout of a site in IE6. It’s a kind of poor man’s Firebug but given the status of IE development it’s a very nice tool indeed. Thanks!
Looking at one of my sites in split-view the Firefox rendered version appears to be different than actual Firefox? Anyone else notice this?
I’m on the latest build 2.07?
Did anyone find a way to do a login with both browsers.
