Edge IO Launched

Michael Arrington of TechCrunch blogged about a company that he has founded called Edge IO.
Edge IO is classifieds with a twist. You can post classified requests on your own blog, and Edge IO will automatically pick it up. No need fora centralized system.
The UI is very nice too, and Ajax is abound.
The search widget on the right hand side is a good example. It starts off using a “Live Search” to find your location, and then gives you a slider so you can change the scope of your important query. Maybe soon you will see the scaling as a map on a globe ;)

Just to clear something up, it was actually, the person who blogged about it on TechCrunch was not Mike Arrington, but in fact it was Nik Cubrilovic who is covering for Mike who is on holidays at the moment.
