EvokeTv.com – Ajax-enabled TV Listings and Community
The new site, EvokeTV.com does one thing and it does it well – provide TV listings for your area in a simple, easy to read, Ajax-enabled interface.
eVokeTV.com is focused on multi-tasking tv watchers – the growing population of users that have broadband internet connectivity while watching TV. Whether you are a passive viewer or actively engaged with the programming you watch, we strive to give you a better user experience, by creating a new community based online dimension to your television programming.
A bit of the community aspect is shown with the star rating of the shows/episodes you select, but the real reason to use the site is it’s easy show browsing. Other sites, who will remain nameless, are loaded down with other pages aspects that can hinder someone just searching for the shows currently on.
Anyone can view the listings by just going to the site, but there are some powerful additional features you get by registering – an RSS feed of your latest ratings, a custom show listing page based on your prior ratings, and a Javascript “Share Ratings” setup for dropping into your blog.
