I think this is awesome. Another great thing IBM does. It is awesome how they support the accessibility and all the work they have done for it.

dojo is really the library, that I dougt it will replace the desktop in future. Because it almost have all those components that a desktop application has. I am thinking about to use it for my final semester project.
thanks to dojo.

I am student of Computer Science, I never seen such a great open source library for web, although I got problem as it is not documented well, but for future I feel all my desktop applications over web. Isn't it true? If Yes, then great future for web, whoes credit goes to AJAX and dojo.

I third the Dojo documentation. I wish every language or library I used had documentation as easy to use as PHP's.

Accessibility is going to help a lot if Dojo is ever going to be adopted by enterprise level ISVs.

I agree with the documentation issue, but it looks like they are beginning to address that with some great examples on their site.

Congrats to the Dojo Team!

Does anyone else feel that IBM's 'open source' initiative and support for AJAX is a strategic move to gain some *hint* IBM mainframes *hint* market?

Just a note, and it seems mainframes are getting cheaper.

Seems like a good plan

I'll second that Joe. I think they could really get more people using it if they just improved the documentation. Something like PHP's manual would be great.

I hope this improves the dojo documentation. Is anyone else frustrated with the poor doc? Why don't they use jsdoc on their objects?
