BTW Christian’s arranging an accessibility event, including a hack day, this Friday/Saturday in London – Scrpting Enabled. Tickets are free, but booking is required.

Legislation is not the (only) answer. Smart developers can find ways to work with the technology to improve experiences. He’s covering various examples of using the technology to improve accessibility. For example, Flash is evil for accessibility, right? But not if you’re building a chatroom where deaf users can see and sign to each other using video. Pragmatism!
