I forwarded the links you gave to my brother because he is a software engineer. He commented that the demo is somewhat slow. Is there something that he should do in order to watch the demo properly without eating much of his time getting idle and waiting for things to come out?

This is a fantastic application in and of itself. But it’s even more amazing for the ease with which it can be used. I would say we are now beginning to enter the age of the end-user. More and more applications like this one are coming out and making it easy for people with little actual programming experience to create web spaces that are every bit as interactive, accessible, and impressive as any commercial sites. I am by no means a technical whiz -- I like to think I can design a workable site for myself, but I would never attempt to do something that required a great deal of complexity. For the most part I use Dream weaver to put my sites together. But I had no problem following the tutorials o the Infiview website. I look forward to more programs like these that bridge the gap between programmers and amateurs designers.

@Martin, thanks for your comment! I did some changes to improve the performance of the Balloon Tree Demo. Also I added some descriptions.

We apologize for not clearly explaining the purpose of this demo :)
What the Balloon Tree demonstrates is a special algorithm for centering a node (a balloon). Every time you click on a node it is immediately centered (we even added a little animation).
Thanks for your comment - we will add a description to the demo on Monday.

It is for you? Well, I tried the Balloon Tree demo and the thing is so jerky and slow that it is not usable.

Wow, great to see that someone adresses our web diagraming needs from a framework perspective.
And it is as fast as our desktop diagrams.
