Didn’t see the presentation, but flipped through the slides. CSS + DocType = :(? I hope this is not what he thinks, and I hope this is not what developers think. Which doctype — strict, loose? Does he not think writing HTML correctly is bad?
I will look into s5 for next time :)
I am all for good HTML but the reason for css + doctype = :( is just to make sure that people know how specifying different doctypes can make css in particular do very different things – talking about IE headaches here of course
