By the time I came to look at jQuery and some others out there... there weren't many bases left to cover for what I needed. - It's not that I think jQuery is bad in any way... I've just already covered the areas it would have been of most help to me. - For most developers, I can see it being a great time saver. Sorry if I gave the impression that I was being negative about jQuery in general, that wasn't the intention. My point was just that I've got more respect for those guys because I've found more use for their stuff without sacrificing any creative freedom and have found little use for Dojo and jQuery in comparison. and that's probably just a personal thing!! - I often find the real geniuses aren't the ones at expos, etc. talking the talk (thus the derogatory "fluff 2.0" statement!). okay I was being too harsh… water my last post down with half a cup of water, i didn’t mean to be quite so facetious!
