JIRA now has a live walk-through demo using jQuery
<>p>
Atlassian has created a new JIRA Interactive Tour that walks you through the application, live. We have seen a couple of these before, and this one is really cool. It is one thing watching a screencast of an application that you want to learn, but having an assistant that helps you inside the live app itself is the next level.
Thanks to the Web being so malleable, it is also a hell of a lot easier to do this than with other technologies!
Congrats to the Atlassian crew for such a nice showcase.

Their “show me” button/animated bouncy arrow doesn’t take page scrolling into account. Time to file a bug.
@cancelbubble – Thanks for the feedback! I’ve filed a ticket in our internal JIRA system, let me know if you have any other suggestions: jsloat(at)atlassian(dot)com
We just released a tutorial for Confluence using the same technology:

PS. We can get you a better screenshot if you want ;)
