JotSpot Tracker and Salesforce.com

Category: Dojo, Showcase

<>p>JotSpot has teamed up with Salesforce.com integrating into Salesforce’s AppExchange.

Why do we care? JotSpot Tracker is an online excel-like application written using Dojo.

If you check out this video of it in action you will see some pretty cool Ajax features throughout.

Check out the inner popups, formulas, security selections, etc. This really shows how you can build an application that looks like a desktop app but also has the mashup ability shown off too.

Nice. Seamless integration with Salesforce.com. I did not understand why you would select “Jot Spot” from the dropdown and then select “Jot Tracker” in the tab. I also wonder what happened to the breadcrumbs. So, if I selected “Jot Tracker,” I get a new set of tabs. How do I navigate back to where I was before?

Still, pretty sweet especially associating documents with each cell. Love the Dojo technology behind it too!
