Impressive! Flash version is much sleeker, DHTML version has serious issues with dragging to lower "container" box.

Well, Lon, I wasn't trying to imply that Fx is better or worse than IE. That was just my experience. I opened the demo on both browsers and, sorry but IE had far more problems executing it.

"Not really on option for everyday use ..."

What on earth are you talking about? I'd be more than happy to use that everyday.

IE actually is faster at doing stuff like this. IE's rendering engine, believe it or not, is a lot faster. Laszlo just concentrated on FF, which is their good right to do.

The page takes over 800KB to load! Almost half of that for JavaScript!
Not really an option for everyday use...

It's really impressive how close they actually get both versions. And they don't do it by refraining from doing cool stuff, mind you. It's a nice demo.

Trying this on IE it is quite slower than Firefox and has a couple of glitches which Fx does not. I've read the disclaimer about browsers other than Fx, I'm just commenting that it does work on IE but it's slower. But, anyway, that's probably the beauty of it, isn't it? That you can route IE visitors to the Flash version and not miss anything for visitors without Flash (e.g. Firefox x64).
