[…] Creado por Zoran Juric, y esta en una extremada versión Alpha, vía Ajaxian. En: Internet, Web 2.0 […]
Very nice, will come in handy for when I don’t want to give out my email!
I know its “Extreme ALPHA” but it still needs back button functionality!
Hmm, shame that there is no security, that it displays the sender’s email address, and that there seems to be no way of deleting emails – seems like a bit of a security hole. For example, you can log into the ajaxian account and get the addresses of everyone who sent them an email (which is just Dion at this point).
I’m also aware of the “Extreme ALPHA” status of it, but a little security, or a warning, would have been nice. So, for those who haven’t used it yet – consider this a warning!
Neat idea though.
Am I the only one who sees that without security this is just another in a long line of email addresses I can hand out as spam catchers?
I’ll admit I’m struggling with the base concept. Maybe because I use Thunderbird to read my mail and my RSS feeds. But without some kind of security, I’m just not sure this is a viable tool. It is a different concept though.
=C=
This looks good to me, I’ll use it to create feeds for organizations with email newsletters but no RSS. Mailtofeed.org just went under due to bandwidth issues, though!
[…] I must thank Dion Almaer from ajaxian.com who posted a story about Mail2RSS.org. […]
Great Job Zoran! I applaud you!
Kate
