Panoramio.com – slick photo mashup with Google Maps
<>p>
Panoramio.com is a new photo service/Google Maps mash up. Although there are similiar mashups, this one stands out because of its simple, well designed interface. You upload a photo just by clicking on the location on the map and filling out the pop up form, without any need to log in. There is a nice sidebar showing photos taken in the nearby area, and a sidebar showing a small version of the map and satellite view when you have zoomed in picture.
I did find see some Javascript errors in some spots, but the developers are hard at work at fixing things up and adding some features, such as comments. The main feature I would love to see is Flickr integration, so I can just load up the photos I already have online and map them.
