Search Everything on the Page

<>p>Tom Light’s produced an interesting use of Ajax which is bound to be a little controversial from a usability perspective. Each word on the site (on motorbikes) is a hyperlink to a search on that word. Click on “gas” and the top of the page will morph to show the top three matching pages containing the term “gas”. Maybe it could be combined with Hoversmack-style searching to produce results inside a Popup.

The text is all black, only underlined when hovering, so the hyperlinks aren’t actually distracting.

Now all we need is a keyword-driven ad among those results.
