User Interface Engineer – Web

Sharpcast is seeking a top-notch user interface engineer to become a key technical contributor to our web engineering team. Responsibilities include participating in the design, implementation, code review, and unit testing of web products. Candidates should have strong Javascript, XHTML, and DHTML skills and a history of creating great web-based user experiences.

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Skill Set

Required:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply
  • 3+ years of developing rich web interfaces with Javascript, XHTML, and DHTML
  • Strong UI design skills

Desired:

  • AJAX experience
  • Spring, Jakarta Struts or JavaServer Faces experience
  • Knowledge of servlet development, JSP, and HTML
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
