It looks like they just took the Wingdings font and threw backgrounds behind it.
I don’t see what the point is. Nor, do I understand why that is on the ajaxian news. sorry
I wonder what a “mashup” would mean when speaking of symbols. That’s just using trendy words in inappropriate contexts.
