		<description>This slide show just felt like a reminder of what Adobe AIR and Google Gears is. I don&#039;t really feel I got anything about taking my web applications offline, the desktop, and beyond (as the title describes) then besides what we already know. It also didn&#039;t point out what reasons to be excited about web development, I still feel the same. *sigh*</description>
