This slide show just felt like a reminder of what Adobe AIR and Google Gears is. I don’t really feel I got anything about taking my web applications offline, the desktop, and beyond (as the title describes) then besides what we already know. It also didn’t point out what reasons to be excited about web development, I still feel the same. *sigh*

I’ve never understood what good is the presentation without the audio? It’s like hearing a telephone conversation from one side.
