> Not sure if you can see in real time who are online from
> invited participants

Yes, when they join. Also, we are thinking of integrating Skype which gives you presence info.

> (whats is: “no participants yet” ???).

Nobody joined the presentation just yet.

> to implement a simple chat bar on the side

Thought about that, good idea, decision-making for the record.

> ability to schedule the presentation on a specific date/time

No, teamslide is about live web presentations. Presentation scheduling is done "manually" among humans (i.e. email, phone, cafeteria, IM...).

Nice idea. Not sure if you can see in real time who are online from invited participants (whats is: "no participants yet" ???). Future enhancement suggestion: to implement a simple chat bar on the side to share opinions or questions during the presentation. Plus optional restrictions by date/time with ability to schedule the presentation on a specific date/time.

> teamslide at 99$ is officially

By the way, this is a one-time payment. No recurring fees, no hidden costs, no "subscriptions" your vendor wants you to forget about. And your data is safely on your own webserver / webspace.

> This app is a nice example of leveraging AJAX without over-doing it.

Thank you.

> They has no place for me to ask questions about the app.

Changed now, see http://www.teamslide.com

> Like, why do they require php safe mode to be turned off?

To create new subdirectories to save uploaded presentations in.

> Also, it would be great if Teamslide had capbility for presenter
> to leverage Skype or SIP based VOIP to add voice capability

Good point. We are skype fans, working on it.

> Bet they haven’t.

:-) Not in the 500-participants+ realm. teamslide at 99$ is officially an up to 5 participants + moderator, no-database-required version.

The invitation code is auto-generated. You can use it to invite yourself. Open it in a new browser window instance and you can be moderator and participant at the same time.

well, looks like the invite code is custom generated so the code I gave earlier: ULSNO is no longer valid. The only way to access their demo is to go to teamslide.com.

I went to teamslide.com and clicked on the Online Demo button. That button may not look like a button. At first I thought it was a pretty content header not a button. :-) Just click on those words. You go to their demo login page with the login prepopulated so all you have to do is click the login button and you're in. As far as the invite code, I don't know if they customer generate that or not. I used their app to "invite" myself and got an e-mail with this invite code that I assume is valid: ULSNO

This app is a nice example of leveraging AJAX without over-doing it. Scriptalicious effects were used when neccessary, not for every possible action / event. App worked well in FF, did not try in IE6. They has no place for me to ask questions about the app. Like, why do they require php safe mode to be turned off? Sure sounds bad to a non PHP developer. Wish that team slide would allow for custom flash slides so I could mix .jpg slides with flash animated slides. Also, it would be great if Teamslide had capbility for presenter to leverage Skype or SIP based VOIP to add voice capability to application. If Skype, just a Skype link and user could click to join Skype conf. call. Final question, could I have a meeting with 500 attendees? I'd love it if telepak included any load or stress test results if they've done that. Bet they haven't.
