Voice XML and Ajax

Category: Accessibility

Voice(XML) of the People has weighed in on their thoughts on bringing Ajax techniques to Voice XML via the and elements available.

This was in response to the article in speech tech mag on Metalanguages and Ajax, and goes into detail on what Voice XML offers as well as the Call Control eXtensible Markup Language (CCXML) standard.

No matter what you think about Ajax itself, it is great to see people probe what can be done with all things usable on the web.

lots of clever new ideas for ajax or for any type working program…but i think its alil confusing.. its not like 2 bars on my block and i gotta decide which to drink in . Its like 100 on my block all at once….Its like extensions in firefox and addons and new apps everyday.most are the same most arent astounding. A few yes but most are copies or rehashes.. mashups are good but here again they are copies or they offer trivia….Can we name at least 5 exceptional things? a calendar to email or sms me my appointments but for free?
a really cheap way to use cellfon to get to my email? cheap i said
i wanna say theres TOO MUCH.
wat about a program to stop spam DEAD like sending a onetime confirm but again free ok name 5 avsolutely great ajax deals that we really really need. or that are SMART….
