This presumably means Opera is now at 99/100... the race continues!
And a little bird told that Opera will not setlle down and if it did drop to 99/100, it'll be back at 100/100 pretty soon, with that whitespace between the coma and the "a" ;)

Anyway. Great job.

Well to be fair, I was only able to coax WebKit into rendering the thing as 100/100 after a few refreshes; so I'd hardly call that a win, just yet.

As for Opera; well the public has no opportunity to test for such bugs, and as one part of the pass, it says the animation must be smooth. WebKit's certainly was for me on an Intel Core 2 Duo iMac, but who knows about Opera?

To my mind, it's about being the first-to-market with a working Acid1, 2 and 3 in a browser for public consumption that's key. Betas are great, but until those changes hit users, we can't use any of the new features as developers.

Safari did that for Acid2. My money's on Opera for Acid3 (since Safari 3.1 came out very, very recently).
