Wow, I expected something like this, but I thought it would be Google acquiring del.icio.us. This being the case, I expect Google to introduce their own competing social bookmarking site soon. Probably Microsoft will jump on the bandwagon as well.

Seriously, drag and droppable or not isn't the key of Ajax. The key is how useful the damn tool is.
I found myself in many situations where the clients want drag and drop on their page, and they can't even define why. They only wanted them just because they are good show offs. The consequences are more complicated codes and horrible user experiences.
I personally found this bookmark tool of yahoo is pretty nice. I don't want no drag and drop, all I want is click on my bookmark and able to edit it ro view it.

A discussion of the overall strategy is at the bottom of this thread:
http://digg.com/tech_news/Yahoo_Bookmarks_Enters_21st_Century

As for feeds, just sit tight. It's all built on the MyWeb platform so all thos fancy things already exist, they just aren't exposed in the beta release.

You can use drag and drop to organize bookmarks in to folders - just drag the thumbnail (or the bookmark detail itself).

What would be even better is the ability to sync del.icio.us with this new service. Spurl did that years ago

Years ago? How long has delicious (screw those damn dots)
been around?

"it is extremely easy to import bookmarks from the old y!bookmarks, your browser, del.icio.us, etc."

What would be even better is the ability to sync del.icio.us with this new service. Spurl did that years ago, and it's very useful.
